Therapists provide consultation service to children, families and their school teams.  Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist may see children who:

  • Have long-term physical disabilities and/or difficulties

  • Require short-term intervention after injury and/or surgery

  • Use specialized equipment (i.e. braces, wheelchairs, walkers)

  • Have printing and fine motor difficulties

  • Have difficulty keeping up with peers on the playground or in the gym

How referrals are made:

  • Request for Occupational and Physiotherapy services can be made to your child’s teacher by parents, school staff or other medical personnel

  • Teacher makes the referral
